Your incidents, in one place
HopMango incident list showing affected hosts, severity, status and failing checks.

What you can monitor

From your public website to the server behind it.

Check availability from the outside, investigate what is happening inside your infrastructure, and publish the monitors you choose on your own status page.

Websites & APIs

Check HTTP endpoints from multiple locations, and give a backup or a cron a heartbeat that alerts when it stops calling. Track response time and availability, with optional comparison between your CDN and origin.

For your storefront, customer portal or API.

Servers & services

Install the agent to monitor CPU, memory, disks and discovered services. Review the checks you want to keep from the portal.

For your Linux hosts and the services running on them.

Certificates, ports and databases

Watch TLS certificates before they expire, ports that must answer, and PostgreSQL from inside the host. Every check carries a rule with a duration, so a blip is not an alert.

For the wildcard certificate, the database port and the service you forgot.

Page performance

Add the RUM snippet to measure page performance for actual visitors, including Core Web Vitals and JavaScript errors.

For finding slow pages that an uptime check cannot explain.

How it works

Add a check. Choose where alerts go.

  1. Connect a system

Enter a website URL or copy the agent install command from your account. Choose what to monitor.

  2. Set your alert rules

Choose thresholds, how long a failure must last, and a webhook destination. Add maintenance windows for planned work.

  3. Investigate the incident

Open the alert to see the affected resource, failing checks and timeline. Acknowledge it so the team knows who is working on it.

Why HopMango

Check from outside. Investigate inside.

An external check tells you a site is failing. Server metrics help you work out what to investigate next.

Rules run on your server

The agent evaluates checks locally and sends state changes. Raw metric samples stay on the host; the portal requests history when you open a chart.

Alerts have a timeline

Related events are grouped into incidents. Minimum failure durations, maintenance windows and silences help control repeated notifications.

No inbound port for the agent

The agent connects out to HopMango and runs without root. Monitoring does not require opening a port in your firewall.

For the person on call

Keep the handover in the same place.

Rotations and escalation policies connect incidents to the person on duty. The iPhone app brings incident details and acknowledgement to your phone.

The iPhone app is preparing for release. Phone calls and push depend on the paid plan and on the delivery channels you configure.

A few practical questions.

Need help with your setup? Contact us.

Do I need to install an agent?

Website monitoring checks a public URL without an agent. Install the agent when you want metrics and service checks from inside a server. Page performance monitoring uses a separate browser snippet.

Where do alerts go?

The free plan delivers alerts to a webhook, using Slack-compatible, Microsoft Teams, Discord or generic JSON payloads. Paid plans add phone calls and push. Delivery channels need to be configured for your organization.

What happens during planned maintenance?

Schedule a maintenance window or add a silence with an expiry. Matching notifications are suppressed while you work, and monitoring resumes its normal alert behaviour afterwards.

Can I use HopMango without AI?

Yes. Monitoring, rules and incident handling work without Mango AI. Optional summaries are available on paid plans; they suggest where to investigate and do not run changes on your systems.

Can I automate it?

Yes. The portal uses the public API, so you can manage monitoring from your own scripts. API documentation and MCP connection instructions are available without signing in.
